Supporting Trans Youth in the Oregon Youth Authority

Interview with Bryant Campbell and Kelly Okili of the Oregon Youth Authority.   We will talk about youth with gender identity concerns in the Oregon Youth Authority and what we need to know about them.  We will also discuss what to do if someone wants to be a foster parent to a youth with gender identity concerns and what are some things they might want to think about to help that youth thrive.

The Oregon Youth Authority (OYA) is seeking nurturing foster homes for transgender youth that can provide stability, structure and supervision, and who can support the youth around their gender identity needs. The Oregon Youth Authority provides training and support for people who wish to support and nurture transgender youth.
